I paint from quiet observation, letting atmosphere, light and subtle textures shape each piece. My work leans toward the elemental—soft tones, shifting weather and surfaces that echo stone, sky, shoreline and coastlines.

I work in encaustic, acrylic and printmaking on varied supports and sizes. Each is selected to best convey texture and mood. My process is intuitive, building layers slowly to capture light, rhythm and the currents that move through a landscape. Traces of forests appear in some pieces—rooted and rhythmic—complementing the sea that often informs the flow and palettes of my paintings.

Living in the west of Ireland shapes much of what I create, yet the work also drifts beyond the local, toward something interior and timeless. My work offers a quiet space to slow down, to look and to feel the delicate rhythms that often go unnoticed.
